Taxi from Denizli Çardak Airport
The airport is about 60–65 km from Denizli city centre. A taxi takes you door to door, with no waiting and at any hour of the night. Here is when to call one and how to recognise an official taxi.
Where is the airport and how long does it take?
Denizli Çardak Airport (DNZ) is not in the city itself but in the Çardak district, about 60–65 km from Denizli city centre. In normal traffic the drive takes close to an hour. If you are catching a flight, leaving home at least three hours before departure is a safe margin.
Why take a taxi?
- Door to door: picked up outside your home, hotel or office and dropped at the terminal entrance. No transfers, no walking.
- No timetable: you leave whenever you are ready.
- Any time of night: the most reliable option for late-night and early-morning flights.
- Easy with luggage, children and older passengers: your bags travel in the boot, right with you.
- Good value for groups: travelling as three or four, the fare is shared.
Find the nearest official taxi rank →
From the airport into town
After landing, or while you wait for your bags, open our site on your phone and tap Taxi Near Me. The nearest official taxi rank is found from your location and you can call it with one tap. If you already know which part of the city you are going to, you can also pick that area on the map and call its rank.
If you are still outside Denizli
If you are in another city or on your way, tap Taxi Near Me anyway. Because you are outside Denizli, the site asks where you are going (the airport, Pamukkale, a hospital, the bus station…) and shows the taxi rank for that place. Call it and give your arrival time, the number of passengers and the address.
From the city to the airport
Don’t leave the taxi to the last minute. Call your nearest rank at least a day before and give the pick-up address and time. For early-morning flights in particular, booking ahead secures the car. If you don’t know your rank, our site finds the one closest to you.
Straight to Pamukkale and Karahayıt
Visiting the Pamukkale travertines or staying at a thermal hotel in Karahayıt? You can take a taxi from the airport directly to your hotel without going through the city centre. For the return trip, call the Pamukkale-Karahayıt taxi rank in advance. More in our guide to getting to Pamukkale by taxi.
How to recognise an official taxi
- The car is yellow, with a “TAKSİ” sign on the roof and the name of its rank.
- The licence plate starts with “20 T”. This is how commercial taxi plates look in Denizli.
- The meter is switched on. The fare is set by the taximeter; since it is a long trip, you can ask the driver for an approximate fare before you get in.
- Be careful with “cheap ride” offers. Riding in an unlicensed car without a meter can get the passenger fined too; see our unlicensed taxi page.
