Terms of Use
By using this site you accept the terms below.
1. Service provider
The denizlitaksi.net website and its mobile apps (the "Site") are operated by Alparslan Özdemir (the "Service Provider"). Address: Karşıyaka, Ankara Blv. No:186, 20170 Pamukkale/Denizli, Turkey. E-mail: info@ayzajans.com
2. Nature of the service
Denizli Taksi is not a taxi company. The Site is a free information service that shows the taxi stand nearest to your location or to the spot you mark on the map and makes it easy to call that stand.
- The Site does not carry passengers, employ vehicles or drivers, or charge taxi fares.
- When you call a stand, the transport service is arranged directly between you and that stand. The stand and its driver are the party responsible for that service.
- The fare is paid by taximeter according to the tariff set by the municipality. The Site has no part in the fare.
- Some of the stands listed on the Site may have an agreement with the Service Provider; such an agreement does not transfer the stands’ responsibility for the transport service to the Service Provider. Each stand is responsible for its own municipal permits.
- Live tracking is offered at some stands. The taxi location and arrival time shown are estimates; they depend on the taxi’s location signal and internet connection and may be delayed or not appear at all.
- Using the Site is free. Calls to stands are charged at your phone operator’s normal rates, and internet use is subject to your own data plan.
- The Service Provider may add or remove zones and stands on the Site and, in a zone without service, may show you the nearest stand. It may change or suspend the Site without prior notice.
3. Accuracy of information
Stand names, phone numbers, locations and zone boundaries are compiled from the stands and public sources and are kept as up to date as possible. However, a stand’s phone number or location may change without notice.
Distances and times shown are approximate. The time for a taxi to reach you and the walking route to the stand are estimates calculated from open map data without taking traffic into account; actual times may differ.
The “nearest stand” result is based on the location provided by your phone or browser or on the spot you mark on the map; a GPS error, weak signal or wrong marking may direct you to the wrong zone. If you notice incorrect information, letting the Service Provider know helps get it corrected.
4. Limitation of liability
The Service Provider is not responsible for:
- problems with the transport service: a vehicle not arriving or arriving late, an accident or injury during the ride, overcharging, the driver’s behaviour and items left in the vehicle. The stand and driver concerned are responsible for these matters; compulsory insurance is also the responsibility of the transport provider.
- a stand not answering the phone or being unable to send a vehicle.
- the operation of other apps the Site directs you to (maps, phone, WhatsApp).
The Service Provider takes care to keep the Site running without interruption. However, it is not responsible for damage arising from the Site, or parts of it such as the map, time calculation and notifications, being temporarily unavailable for the following reasons:
- planned maintenance,
- server or connection failures at the hosting company,
- events beyond control such as cyber attacks, power cuts or natural disasters,
- outages of the external services that provide maps, routing and notifications,
- problems with the user’s own internet connection, phone or mobile operator.
In an emergency, do not use the Site; call the 112 Emergency Call Centre directly.
This clause does not remove the Service Provider’s liability for intent or gross negligence, nor consumers’ statutory rights.
5. User obligations
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- make fake or abusive calls to stands,
- scan the Site with automated programs, copy its data in bulk or try to disrupt the system,
- send forms using someone else’s name or with false information.
If you call a taxi for someone else, it is your responsibility to mark the right spot on the map and give the stand correct information.
Stands can see the time and approximate location of calls they receive so they can detect fake and malicious calls. If use contrary to these rules is detected, access to the Site from the device or IP address concerned may be restricted.
6. Suggestion and complaint form
Your report is forwarded to the stand concerned for review. The phone number is optional. If you give it, it is forwarded to the stand concerned together with your report and the stand may call you; if you do not, no phone information about you is processed. In your report:
- do not use untrue, insulting or degrading statements about anyone.
- when adding a photo, do not unnecessarily show other people’s faces or personal details. A photo of the plate and the vehicle is enough.
The sender is responsible for the content of the report. The Service Provider forwards reports to stands; it does not guarantee the outcome of a complaint and may decline to forward reports it considers inappropriate. Reports are deleted automatically after 1 year. In serious incidents (harassment, accidents, crime) you should also contact the police or the municipality.
7. Contact form and WhatsApp
The Service Provider replies to messages sent through the contact form or WhatsApp by e-mail or WhatsApp. These channels are not for emergencies or for ordering a taxi; to get a taxi, call the stand. WhatsApp’s own rules apply to WhatsApp conversations.
8. Notifications
If you turn on notifications, the Service Provider may occasionally send you announcements and information; no advertising is sent; some announcements are sent only to the zone where you last looked for a taxi. You can turn notifications off at any time in the Settings section of the menu or in your phone settings.
9. Informational content and links
The zone pages, the Unlicensed Taxi page and similar texts on the Site are for general information only and are not legal advice. Fines and legislation may change; check official sources for current information.
The owners of other websites linked from the Site (for example mevzuat.gov.tr) are responsible for their content.
10. Intellectual property
The Site’s design, software, texts, the drawings of zone boundaries on the map, the “Denizli Taksi” logo belong to the Service Provider. They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission. The official zone boundaries are set by the relevant public authorities. The base map belongs to OpenStreetMap contributors and is subject to its own licence.
11. Personal data
Details of the personal data processed when you use the Site (location, IP address, form and notification details) are set out in the Privacy Notice.
12. Changes
The Service Provider may update these terms. The current text is always published on this page and applies from the date of publication. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the current terms.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Turkish law. The courts and enforcement offices of Denizli have jurisdiction over disputes. The right of consumers under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 to apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court of their place of residence is reserved.
